Selena Gomez failed a scent-recognition test at the unveiling of her namesake fragrance that inadvertently made her feel like "a bad girlfriend."

The Insider's Brooke Anderson lined up three unlabeled fragrances for Selena, which included Justin Bieber's Someday perfume, challenging her to pick out her boyfriend's scent from the trio.

"I'm such a bad girlfriend," Selena sheepishly muttered when she confused Someday for Paris, which she has at home.

Although she might not be able to pick out Bieber's scent in a lineup, Selena revealed that the Biebs is impressed with her concoction. Selena went on to explain why her boyfriend's opinion carried so much weight, not only as a fellow perfumer, but also as a guy, citing "romantic" reasons.

Selena Gomez, a rich and romantic fragrance, will be sold exclusively at Macy's in mid-May.
