Before David Beckham was honored alongside other stellar athletes at the Sports Spectacular event hosted in benefit of the Medical Genetics Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, The Insider's Kevin Frazier caught up with the soccer stud and found out how he keeps his marriage with his wife Victoria healthy after so many years.
"We still love each other like we did when we first met," he said. "We've got amazing children...and we're very happy."
On the topic of Beckham's four children, the 37-year-old talked a little about how he manages with a range from a 13-year-old to a baby. "We manage it perfectly," he said. "Me and my wife—we're very hands-on...We juggle our lives with our work and in our family, children always come first. So, it's as simple as that."
While the veteran soccer player didn't make any announcement as to whether or not he would be joining the English national team for the Olympics this summer, he said he was keeping fit in hopes that he would be selected for the squad.
Beckham also talked about his visit to the White House, during which President Obama gave him a hard time for his newly grown facial hair and his underwear line. Check out full interview above to hear why Beckham thinks his line is a great thing.
