Apparently it all went down a few hours into the season's first round of auditions today in Austin, Texas when a would-be hopeful reportedly "butchered" her hit, Hold It Against Me.

A Twitter-friendly member of the audience took this photo of the Britney-free judging panel as proof, but there's not much else to substantiate the report.

News of Brit's breakdown quickly became a trending topic on the social media site, which got the queen of pop herself to address the rampant rumor.

"#Britneywalksoff‬???," she scoffed onTwitter in response. "LOL was just taking a little break people. I am having the BEST time!!"

To further her point she adds, "Texas has a lot of talent - seriously! Loving @TheXFactorUSA auditions so far."
