Although Apple and Microsoft actually worked together to release joint products in order to battle sagging computer sales in the '90s, that all changed with the advent of the iEverything, and with Microsoft's software on practically every PC out there, Apple has chosen a "young and hip," Mac vs. PC ad campaign to target a younger, more spendthrift demographic and paint Microsoft as older, more stuffy and slower to change.
