After having her life unfold on television with her family on their reality show, Kate Gosselin has had some time out of the spotlight with Kate Plus 8's cancellation last summer. With her loyal reality television audience wondering about her happenings, The Insider caught up with Gosselin and found out if she's considering a return to TV.

While Gosselin said that she hasn't mentioned anything to her children about the possibility of doing another reality show, they enjoyed the experience and would be probably been keen on doing it again.

"They really miss traveling, the excitement, the fun things that [were] coming our way," she said. "They're the ones who have mentioned it. So, if the opportunity presented itself again, we would definitely do it," the mother of eight said, adding that fans of the family would be another reason to return to reality TV.

Gosselin also discussed her relationship with ex-husband Jon, who was on the show with her and the rest of the family until the couple's divorce in 2009.

"It's definitely better than it has ever been," she said of their current relationship. "I feel like finally there's a lot more peace between Jon and I, which I always wanted for the kids because, as a mother, you never wanted to bring extra stress on your kids. Any divorce causes stress for the kids and I just always wanted that peace for them."

In addition to being a single mother of eight, Gosselin still manages to find the time to write her blog for CouponCabin and train for mini-marathons like the one she is running in July. With her hands constantly full, she doesn't have too much time for social interaction.

Even if she had sufficient time to socialize, the reality star would have a unique time finding a mate after being exposed on television. "The sooner I started to look at my life as 'I don't fit into the norms,' the better and [dating] goes right along with it," she said. "Clearly, I haven't figured it out."
