Michelle Obama is a trendsetting force in her own right, but with her husband's Sarah Jessica Parker /Anna Wintour-hosted fundraiser just days away, the First Lady admits she's feeling the pressure to keep in stylish step with the famously fashionable duo.

When asked by The Insider's Kevin Frazier if she's nervous to share the spotlight with fashion's A-list, Mrs. Obama facetiously replies "no," dismissing the question in jest. "What would make you think that?," she teases.

In fact, the First Lady goes on to say that she's already picked out an outfit for the high-profile dinner, but it's one that isn't likely to ever grace the glossy pages of Wintour's Vogue.

"I'm going to wear jeans and some flats," she boasts.

Jokes aside, Mrs. Obama says the attention to her fashion is not something she minds, as long as the public's eye is eventually drawn to the more important things.

"They might be looking at me first to see what shoes I have on, but eventually if I am standing in front of something really good and interesting I sort of welcome that attention as long as we eventually get back to the issues at hand."

She adds, "If my shoes help deliver that message then I am okay with it."

One cause in particular the First Lady would like to draw your attention to is her passion project: the promotion of healthy eating habits. Mrs. Obama is currently promoting her book, American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America, which details the story of how the White House's garden came to fruition as well as her own personal recipes.
