Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is once again in trouble with the law.

Evans and her on-again, off-again fiance Gary Head were arrested Sunday, with Evans being charged with simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

Head was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and assault on a female.

"Gary beat the sh*t out of Jenelle," a friend of the MTV star told RadarOnline.com. "He strangled her with a bed sheet."

Jenelle's attorney Dustin Sullivan confirmed that she and Gary "got into a domestic dispute," and that she has since been released from jail.

Jenelle was bailed out on $500 and is scheduled to appear in court on July 30.

But despite all the serious and legal drama, the teen mom seems to be looking on the bright side of things.
