In a shocking turn of events, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have announced that they are divorcing after five years of marriage. "This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family," Holmes' attorney Jonathan Wolfe said in a statement. "Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."
Cruise and Holmes married in 2006 and have one daughter together, Suri, 6. This was Holmes' first marriage and the third marriage for Cruise, who was previously married to Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers.
