Usher's 11-year-old stepson has been declared brain dead following a jet-ski accident on Saturday, but sources tell us the child's mother is optimistic about her son's chances of recovery.
Kyle Glover, the son of Usher's estranged wife Tameka, was floating on an inner tube with a teenage girl on Lake Lanier over the weekend when he was struck in the head by someone riding on a jet ski.

Glover was then transported to an Atlanta hospital where he was said to be unresponsive. The girl is stable.
According to our sources, Tameka, who has requested that friends keep her son in their prayers, is telling those close to her, "I am strong as hell and focused on my son."
Stars later tweeted their support for the family.
"Our prayers are yours," wrote Jada Pinkett Smith. "Be strong."
Russell Simmons wrote, "My heartfelt prayers for Tameka and Usher, can't even imagine."
