First Lady Michelle Obama was dubbed "the First Fan" at the U.S. men's national basketball team's game on Sunday, giving every U.S. player a hug after their win over France.
Announcer Bob Fitzgerald gave Mrs. Obama the nickname when the players, led by LeBron James, lined up in single file to hug the first lady before heading off to the locker room.
Likewise, the fans at the Basketball Arena in London also received the players warmly, giving them an ovation after their 98-71 victory.
"It's crazy, man," Team USA forward Kevin Durant told reporter Craig Sager about getting to hug the first lady. "I'm just happy I'm here."
