Known to Glee fans as the villainous cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, this openly gay actress recently grabbed headlines for speaking out against the anti-gay marriage stance by chicken chain Chick-fil-A -- basically telling the company's leadership where they can stick their tasty birds. Here are five things you probably don't know about Jane Lynch.
1. Born July 14, 1960 in Dolton, Illinois -- her mother was a homemaker and secretary and her father a banker.

2. In contrast to her glee club-hating character, during her high school years she participated in choir and even performed in some school musicals.
