After judging FOX's So You Think You Can Dance?, TV star, Broadway actress and longtime dancer Christina Applegate revealed that she probably won’t be going back to Broadway in the future – because she can no longer dance.

"[Broadway]’s the best thing that ever happened to me. But I actually can’t dance anymore. And that is sad for me because I always wanted to go back. But I probably won’t be able to." Applegate told TheInsider.com.

She may have to put her dancing shoes away, but Applegate is continuing to make audiences laugh on her hit NBC show, Up All Night, whose sophomore season debuts on Thursday, September 20. While at SYTYCD, Applegate also divulged a few tidbits about the upcoming season, remarking that there would be a lot of changes, with a new emphasis on the three lead’s relationships and the addition of Appelgate’s character’s brother, played by Luka Jones.

Despite her inability to continue dancing, Applegate was an enthusiastic and encouraging judge. When asked what she thought of the Top Four, ballet dancer Eliana Girard, jazz dancer Tiffany Maher, animator Cyrus Spencer and ballet dancer Chehon Wespi-Tschopp, she said, “I think they are all four very extraordinary dancers. I think they are very unique. ... I think any one of them could win. They all had a great night tonight.”
