Just over one month after his arrest for suspected domestic battery, Chad Johnson is officially divorced from reality star Evelyn Lozada.

Johnson's attorney, Adam Swickle, confirmed the divorce finalization to The Associated Press on Wednesday, saying that the split was "governed by a confidential prenuptial agreement."

The estranged couple, who wed on July 4, had an altercation on August 11, resulting in Johnson's arrest. The six-time NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver was later dropped from the Miami Dolphins before his first regular season game. HBO's Hard Knocks captured the firing on their season finale.
