Hollywood's Baddest Bad Girls

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan is the epitome of the Hollywood bad girl. The Mean Girls star has been in and out of court almost as much as she has changed hair colors! Let's take a stroll down memory lane.

On May 26, 2007, Lindsay lost control of her car and was subsequently arrested on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. On July 24, 2007, Lohan, refused to take a field sobriety test and was taken to a police station where her blood alcohol level was above the legal limit. Officers also found a small amount of cocaine on her person. On August 23, 2007, Lohan pleaded guilty to misdemeanor cocaine use and driving under the influence. Lohan was sentenced to one day imprisonment, 10 days of community service, ordered to pay fines and complete an alcohol education program and was given three years probation. On November 15, 2007, Lohan served 84 minutes in jail.

The world hoped Lindsay's woes would pass but she began a tumultuous relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson in 2008, and was thrust back into the limelight. In 2010, Lohan was in France and missed a mandatory DUI progress hearing which resulted in a bench warrant being issued for her arrest. After posting bail, the warrant was rescinded. Upon returning to Los Angeles, the judge ordered Lohan to attend alcohol education classes, wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet, and undergo random drug tests to remain free on bail. On July 6, the judge ruled that Lohan violated her probation when she missed several mandatory classes and meetings and she was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 90 days of inpatient rehab treatment. Starting on June 20, 2010, Lohan spent 14 days in jail.

On September 24, 2010, Lohan failed a drug test and the judge revoked her probation. Lohan spent less than a day in jail. Within days of being released, she admitted herself to the Betty Ford Center. She remained at the rehab facility on court order for the next three months. Lohan's next legal issue was not with drugs or alcohol but with jewelery. On February 9, 2011, Lohan was charged with felony grand theft for stealing a necklace from a jewelry store the month prior. She got slapped with 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service for misdemeanor theft and for violating her probation once again. She pled no contest. The judge ordered Lohan to remain under supervised probation until the completion of her community service. However, Lohan served the sentence under house arrest due to overcrowding in the jails. She wore a ankle monitor from May 26 and June 29. In November 2011, Lohan was once again in violation of her probation. The judge sentenced her to 30 days of jail and 400 hours of community service and on November 7, Lohan spent less than five hours in jail. After being on probation, Lohan's supervised probation ended on March 29, 2012, after having completed the required community service and therapy. Lohan is on informal probation for the stolen necklace until May 2014.
