Paris Hilton has been making headlines for her party girl, "that's hot" ways for years! But many times her love of the nightlife has gotten her into some major trouble. Hilton was first arrested for driving under the influence in 2006. In January 2007, she pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge and given 36 months of probation. Then on January 15, 2007, Hilton was pulled over for driving with a suspended license. The next month, Hilton was caught driving 70 mph in a 35 mph zone. On May 4, 2007, Judge Michael T. Sauer sentenced Hilton to 45 days of jail time for violating her probation.

On July 2, 2010, Hilton was accused of smoking marijuana at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. The case was later dismissed for unknown reasons. Two weeks after the World Cup, Hilton was detained and released after being caught in possession of cannabis in Corsica. On August 28, 2010, she was arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of cocaine possession. Her boyfriend at the time, Cy Waits, was booked on charges of driving under the influence. At first, Hilton claimed that the purse containing the cocaine was not hers. Eventually, Hilton pled guilty to two misdemeanors on September 17, 2010. Under the plea bargain, she agreed to one year probation, 200 hours community service, $2,000 fine and completion of a drug abuse program. Recently Hilton has come under fire for a homophobic rant in a New York taxi.
