Nicole Richie may be a mom and wife now, but Paris Hilton's former BFF was quite the party girl in her earlier days. Richie was arrested on December 11, 2006 after failing a field sobriety test. She was charged with driving under the influence. She admitted to using marijuana and Vicodin before the incident. On July 27, 2007, Richie was sentenced to four days in jail -- but only spent 82 minutes in jail due to overcrowding. Eventually, Richie enrolled in an 18-month anti-drinking driver education program. On June 22, her probation was extended one year to March 2011 because she missed her anti-drinking driving class. However, Richie's probation was terminated early on December 29, 2010 after completing all terms of her probation.

Richie has turned her life around and cleaned up her act. She is mom of two, wife to Joel Madden, an author, a fashion designer, and one of the mentors on NBC's Fashion Star.
