It didn't take long for things to get ugly between new American Idol judges and certified divas Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey.

After just a few days on the road, Nicki blew up big time at Mariah during auditions in North Carolina, calling Mimi every expletive in the book—and it was allllll caught on tape.

"I told them, I'm not f***in' putting up with her f***in' highness over there," screams Nicki at Mariah, as show producers, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban attempt to calm her down.

According to gossip site MouthToEars.com, producers had to shut down auditions for the day so the two judges could chill out. No word yet on what started the fight.

UPDATE: Ryan Seacrest talked about the incident on his radio show this morning. "It was heated," he said of the altercation. "It DID go too far, to the point where the producers said 'let's call it a day.' Those few contestants who didn't get to see the judges, they'll bring them back today."
