Comedy dream team and real-life BFFs Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, confirmed the Globe's official Twitter account on Monday.

NBC's president of alternative and late night programming, Paul Telegdy, also released a statement substantiating the amazing news.

"Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year's festivities is a major coup," said Telegdy. "Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on SNL to their successful co-starring roles in Baby Mama."

Fey, who is currently working on the seventh and final season of the multiple Golden Globe winning 30 Rock, and Poehler, who stars in the network's own Parks and Recreation, will take over for Ricky Gervais who has hosted the award show for the previous three years.
