But at last night's Cinema Society and Grey Goose screening of Perry's new film, Alex Cross, the multi-hyphenate revealed to TheInsider.com there is something he would never do professionally! "I don't want to do a horror movie. I can't even watch them," he laughed. "I don't like being scared and jumping. Demons and spirits? Aaah! No, I can't do that. But I'm open to everything else ... except porn. I won't do porn."

And while a foray into adult cinema would certainly shake up his image, Tyler tells me that had nothing to do with picking the action-heavy, mainstream role of Detective Alex Cross. "I always knew I could do something different, but had never been offered something that was challenging or different," Tyler tells me. "I did the little role in Star Trek, which was me testing the waters. This role really intrigued me, it was something I wanted to do and I had an amazing time."
