Tom Hanks Drops F-Bomb on 'GMA'
October 19, 2012
Tom Hanks always seems to pull off some the funniest and most animated interviews on TV and today was no different as the star got so carried away that he actually dropped the f-bomb during a chat on Good Morning America.
Hanks was being interviewed by GMA's Elizabeth Vargas about his new sci-fi flick Cloud Atlas, in which he assumes numerous characters with different accents. When Vargas asks him to speak in the voice of one of the characters played in a clip, Hanks first warns that "mostly, it's swear words."

But he then proceeds to give it a shot, speaking in a heavy British accent and inadvertently uttering the f-word. He quickly realized his mistake and covered his mouth in embarrassment.
"We are so sorry, Good Morning America," Vargas said. Hanks added: "Man, oh man. I'm sorry... I have never done that before." He then apologized all the kids who were watching the show. "And let me say, the next time I'm on the show there will be a seven-second delay."
