It's been about three years since a photo of a bruised and beaten Rihanna hit the web following a domestic dispute with Chris Brown -- and now, the R&B singer is finally making a bit of a comeback but is well aware of his haters.

"I can’t hate people for making judgment on me, or making a decision of liking me or not liking me," Brown, 23, says in the MTV show How I Made It, airing Oct. 27. "All I can do is try to better as a person. And I’m good with knowing everything isn’t always going to be perfect."

Since they're very public brawl, of which Brown was charged with community service time, he and Rihanna, 24, have been spotted together on several occasions and even worked on a song this year. “[People are] always gonna know me for situations and life obstacles," he explains. "For me to have that achievement [of winning a Grammy Award], and to go through people’s whole opinions changing of me, to get personal opinion back and having to gain personal success back – it’s not all the way back, you know – but it’s been one of my most humbling experiences."

While much of the public isn't over what happened in 2009, Rihanna certainly seems to be okay. "The world hasn't let go," she tells Vogue. "They haven’t seen any progress in our friendship, because they don't see anything. But they're not on the inside. They can't see what I see, unless they're sitting in my point of view. I guess I'll learn to accept that."

What do you think? Are you ready to forgive Chris Brown?
