Offering up advice for first-timers, Dunham counsels young ladies who might be feeling a bit nervous about heading into the voting booth this November for the 2012 presidential election.

"Your first time shouldn't be with just anybody. You wanna do it with a great guy," she suggests coyly. "You wanna do it with a guy who brought the troops out of Iraq."

Adds Dunham of her first time, "It was this line in the sand. First I was a girl, now I was a woman. I went to the polling station, pulled back the curtain and I voted for Barack Obama."
