Jimmy Fallon had an impromptu dinner date with Lindsay Lohan this week when the stars met unexpectedly in a swanky New York restaurant in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Speaking last night to Andy Cohen on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live last night, Jimmy explained that he had been staying at staying at the Four Seasons hotel on Wednesday night because his power was knocked out and wandered into the Manhattan eatery Tao, where he heard someone call out his name.

"It's Lindsay Lohan," the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon host tells Cohen. "And she goes, 'What's up?' I go, 'What do you mean what's up? It's a hurricane. What are you doing here?' She goes, 'Are you here by yourself? How embarrassing.' And she goes, 'Why don't you just eat with us? Hang out with us.'"

Jimmy said he agreed to stay and have dinner with Lindsay, who was dining with a few friends. He said topics for discussion included Cohen's Real Housewives shows, which Lohan confessed to being "a giant fan" of.

When asked how Lindsay is doing after her highly publicized family drama, Jimmy said she's doing "fantastic" and seemed "loose and cool." He also said Lindsay appeared "totally sobes."
