One Direction fans meticulously study every inch of the boys' bodies, so it's no surprise to see some new additions -- tattoos! -- making major headlines.

The most prominent new ink was on display during their performance on last night's X Factor as Liam Payne revealed four Chevron stripes adorning his right forearm.

Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson were snapped making separate trips to Shamrock Tattoo this week, and while Louis' tatt is still under wraps, Harry revealed his two new additions while en route to an X Factor rehearsal yesterday.
