Flashback! Sean Connery in Mr. Universe Pageant

Before he was Bond, Sean Connery was vying for the title of Mr. Universe.
Retronaut released a few photos of the sexy Scottish actor, 82, stripped down to his underwear for the 1953 pageant.
But was he crowned Mr. Universe? Connery was close! The actor placed third that year, but certainly had the last laugh as he went on to be cast in the first James Bond movie, Dr. No, in 1962.
