This is the second child for the actress, 27, and her attorney husband Michael Mosberg. Jemima gave birth to her first child, daughter Rafaella, just six weeks before filming Girls' first season.

"Jemima and Mike had the baby about a week ago," a source told Us Weekly. "It's a boy named Memphis. The Girls crew and Lena [Dunham] are so happy for her!"

Girls creator Lena Dunham seemed to acknowledge the baby news in a tweet on November 21, writing, "Yesterday was amazing. One of my friends had a baby, one got engaged and the doctor told me the bump on my tongue is nothing to worry about."

The second season of Girls premieres January 13 on HBO.
