At their first joint appearance since saying 'I do' in Rome, Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty shared how they're adjusting to married life.

"It's alright," the So You Think You Can Dance host, 35, told Us Weekly at the Bulgari Walk of Style event on Wednesday. "My mum actually asked him the same question this morning on the phone, and thankfully he said the right answer. She said, 'How are you surviving?' My own mother, for God's sake!"

While charged with a loaded question, Kielty knew just what to say.

"My response was 'I'm having a fabulous time!'" said the comedian.

The couple, who reportedly began dating around this time last year, held their wedding at Rome's St. Isidore's College Church in September, Us Weekly reports.

At last night's event, Deeley showed off her engagement ring, designed by Kielty.

"It's very plain, but it's lovely," Deeley said fondly.
