Hugh Jackman on the Wake-Up Call of a Lifetime
December 13, 2012
This year has been especially good to Hugh Jackman. The Les Miserables star got a Golden Globe nomination and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on the same day, and he chats about the experience on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

In the episode, airing Friday, Hugh describes the 5:45 a.m. Golden Globe announcement as pretty much the best "wake up call [he's] had in [his] life," but it apparently wasn't enough to keep him awake.
"Immediately after I found out I went back to sleep and actually had the best two hours from 6 a.m. - 8 a.m. I've ever had in my life," Hugh says.
The actor probably could've used a little more shut-eye, as he had a difficult time recollecting the event that had taken place just hours before his sit-down with Ellen.

"Was that me?" Hugh asks, looking at a photo from the event. In the picture Hugh dances on his star. "I have no recollection of it ... I was a little [more tired] than I thought. It is a surreal moment."
