Ryan Seacrest continues to be one of the busiest people in Hollywood and is currently gearing up to again host the annual Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve show from New York's Times Square.

We caught with Ryan and his co-host Jenny McCarthy as they literally inspected the big ball that will drop in front of thousands of onlookers at exactly midnight. The two stars gave us a preview of what to expect this year and Ryan put speculation to rest that he would pull a Kate Winslet and hold a secret wedding to ring in the New Year.

Ryan assured us that he was not a guest at Winslet's wedding to Ned Rocknroll earlier this month, nor an attendee at any other recent weddings held in secret. When asked about his own possible wedding to girlfriend Julianne Hough, the 38-year-old American Idol host did not specifically deny any plans, but did say it won't be happening on New Year's Eve.

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve airs Monday, December 31 at 8 p.m. on ABC. Among the performers joining Ryan and Jenny in New York will be Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen and Neon Trees, while Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas will host the party on the west coast, with performances by Brandy, Flo Rida, Pitbull, Karmin and OneRepublic.

Watch the video to also hear Ryan talk about his feelings on hosting the show for the first time without the legendary Dick Clark, who passed away last April.
