Elvis Duran has helped launch several big music careers, from Justin Bieber to The Wanted, and the legendary radio host let The Insider's cameras go behind the scenes of his Z100 morning show in New York.

"The great thing about The Insider coming into our interviews is you see how relaxed the room is," said Duran. "It's just very chill. You see in our eyes that we are fans of whoever we have in as an artist that day."

Elvis Duran and the Morning Show boasts 7 million listeners daily, some of whom have actually wound up on the program.

"It's very surreal when Lady Gaga comes in and says, 'I'm so nervous to sit down and do an interview with you, because I grew up listening to you on the radio,'" said Duran.

For the past 30 years, Duran has interviewed all the big names in music from Billy Idol to the boys of One Direction, but while the faces change, Duran remains the same.

"Being a nice guy and being fair to other people and having fun -- that's who I am," said Duran, who will host the iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 21 and 22 in Las Vegas.
