Suddenly, and out of nowhere, a trio of Old Milwaukee commercials have cropped up online starring Will Ferrell.

The origin of the ads seems to stem from the actor himself, as he reportedly approached the Pabst Brewing Company last September and asked if he could make a series of commercials for their Old Milwaukee beer.

For free.

His only requirement was that they shoot the spots in Davenport, Iowa despite the fact that Old Milwaukee has nothing to do with the city.

Although, as with everything Will does, overanalyzing simply detracts from the ridiculous results. Watch:
