While Americans get to watch Jane Lynch and Megan Mullally star in embarrassing (for them, and us) Barnes & Noble and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spots, international audiences have long been treated to commercials featuring our biggest stars hawking goods.

Brad Pitt runs on empty in a German ad for Alice [watch], George Clooney gets a pick-me-up in a Swiss ad for Nespresso [watch], Natalie Portman's hair dazzles in a Japanese ad for Lux Super Rich [watch] and Nicolas Cage starred in the mother of all embarrassment, a Japanese ad for Pachinko [watch].

So Clive Owen, Europe's latest Hollywood hire, is in good company with this Spanish spot for Burger King.

In the commercial, Clive's signature swagger is on full display as he glides through a hotel lobby, past a crowd of kids, across a film set and directly to a Burger King. Since the commercial is in Spanish, and Senora Ferrentino gave me a C- in 7th grade, I'm unsure of what Clive says from there, but it seems to me like a famous Spanish actor is revealed to be wearing a Clive-mask so he can go unnoticed while he takes advantage of that Whopper-tunity.

If true, burn on Clive. Sorry, flame-broil on Clive. Watch the clip!
