And while we didn't get quite the gems we're accustomed to with her Golden Globes win in January, she certainly remedied that this weekend at The BAFTAs when she won Best Actress and unceremoniously lost everything else -- her composure, her shoe and her mind.

But it's uber-charming moments like this that actually reinforce why I believe Meryl keeps winning awards. OK, maybe her talent has a little to do with it. But only a bit.

Also, on another note, anyone else feel like Meryl's "OMG [facepalm] I won, again" face is the natural evolution for Taylor Swift's perpetual shock and awe?
