Real-Life 'Lady and the Tramp' Love
The classic animated love story Lady and the Tramp is out now on Blu-ray Diamond Edition, and in the spirit of Valentine's Day, the fine folks at Disney have recreated the iconic Italian restaurant "spaghetti" scene from the film with live dogs!
For those grown-ups who can't remember what the charming "tail" is about, Lady and the Tramp follows the pampered, pedigreed cocker spaniel Lady, who falls for the amorous, street-smart mutt Tramp. After a romantic courtship, real life threatens their relationship and Tramp must set aside his devil-may-care attitude to save the pooch he loves.
Lady and the Tramp was one of only two animated films to appear on the American Film Institute's "100 Greatest Love Stories of All Time" list during their 100 Years...100 Passions special. The other one? Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
