Joan Rivers recently let Time Out New York into her Upper East Side closet, where aside from showing off her eccentric mix of bedazzled jackets, costume jewelry and mix of high-end, low-end accessories, the Fashion Police host also shares her philosophy on fashion.
"Fashion should make you feel happy, we're all our own Barbie doll," she says. "Fashion is about 'oh let's try it, let's feel bright and hip and young and modern and good.' That's why I love fashion."
Perhaps that's also her philosophy on plastic surgery?
Check out the video for more revelations from Joan's personal closet tour, namely, her belief that fur makes everything look better, and why she really really loves her Payless pumps.
