There's no doubt that Sofia Vergara is beyond hilarious on Modern Family -- in fact, I thought she deserved the Emmy more than Julie Bowen last year. But that doesn't make me feel particularly confident about her ability to host Saturday Night Live.

Sofia Vergara - Style Evolution

As many funny folk have proven over the show's historic run, it takes more than an ability to land a joke to make a good host -- and I worry that her stranger in a strange land schtick will get old after one (maybe two skits).

I'm secretly hoping the show gets her to try an accent-free character, but I'm not sure that's something she's capable of...
