John Cusack's The Raven -- a history twisting mystery about famed writer Edgar Allen Poe -- held its world premiere last night in Los Angeles and someone had the bright idea to invite the titular bird.

And they must have seriously padded John's pockets to do a series of snaps with a raven on his arm because if there's one thing I know about John Cusack, it's that he hates publicity stunts. Or publicity of any kind.
Which is probably why he looks so amused in every single picture from the event.
