Every time I see The Parent Trap on TV I get sad thinking about what coulda been had Lindsay Lohan just taken the other road. But those emotions pale in comparison to the sorrow I feel watching Lindsay (so fresh-faced), Dina (almost unrecognizable), Ali (so little!) and Michael Lohan Jr (whoa, he's in Parent Trap?!?!) in much more untainted states.

The footage comes off The Parent Trap DVD bonus features, where Lindsay takes control of the camera at one point and only registers a depressing note while talking about school (yuck!). Even more remarkably, Lindsay was still so close with her now-estranged father during production, and she was with him upon receiving the news she snagged the role.
