Modern Family takes birthdays very seriously. In what could perhaps be an effort to outdo Sofia Vergara's weeklong 40th bash in Mexico, Eric Stonestreet ambushed Jesse Tyler Ferguson with a choir on stage.

While the co-stars were hosting a Q&A at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston, the curtain rose to reveal the Boston Gay Men's Chorus. The ensemble sang Happy Birthday, followed by Katy Perry's Firework.
Jesse quickly tweeted his jubilee, saying, "My TV boyfriend @ericstonestreet surprised me with a full Katy Perry medley from the Boston Gay Men's chorus! Amazing!"
