Mechagodzilla

Created as a weapon of destruction, Mechagodzilla masqueraded as Godzilla until the real deal found out -- and was not pleased -- in 1974's Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (or in the U.S., known as Godzilla vs. Cosmic Monster). Okay, maybe Mechagodzilla doesn't face off against another robot per se, but it's fun to see him rumble with Godzilla -- and it can't be denied that it would be awesome to see Mechagodzilla tangle with Mecha King-Gidorah or Mechani-Kong.
