The 'Avengers' Have Arrived

Individually, their films have accounted for more than a billion dollars at the box office, so it should be moot to say that Marvel's long-awaiting superhero smorgasbord is one of the decade's most anticipated cinematic events.

Now, you can watch Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, Hawkeye and Nick Fury in action as the first trailer for The Avengers has finally (finally!) been released!

Offering up very little in terms of plot (beyond, Loki is a douche still determined to dominate the globe), the trailer instead highlights the tricky inter-hero dynamics a super group like this spawns (Tony Stark and Steve Rogers hate each other). Think, Watchmen without the sexual assault. This is for kiddies, folks! Which isn't to say some bad ass action won't be glimpsed in the teaser -- explosions and punches are in no short supply, as Scarlett Johansson reprises her seriously sexy thigh/neck snap move thingy that ran in every single promo for Iron Man 2. Watch!
