While the return of blue steel has been in the works for years, Ben Stiller tells The Hollywood Reporter that after ten long years, he's finally got his hands on a script worthy enough to reprise Derek Zoolander.

Stiller explained he had worked on "20-30" unsuccessful drafts before he decided to walk away from the project, but after discovering that the studio was attempting to remake Zoolander without him, he and Justin Theroux (his Tropic Thunder co-writer & Jennifer Aniston's beau) finally crafted a screenplay he's "very proud" of.

Zoolander 2 will pick up ten years later as The Derek Zoolander Center For Children Who Can't Read Good (And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too) has been destroyed, leaving him in charge of its pupil.

No word yet on the likelihood we'll see Will Ferrell, Milla Jovovich, David Duchovny, or the rest of a long list of actors returning from the first.

Fingers crossed our favorite dimwit model/ vampire Alexander Skarsgard will miraculously return from a tragic gasoline fight accident for a cameo!

IMDB projects the film's release for 2014.
