The biopic followed musician Johnny Cash's life from his childhood in Arkansas, to touring the world with wife and singer, June Carter Cash.

Reese Witherspoon won an Academy Award for her turn as June Carter Cash. Joaquin also received an Oscar nomination for his performance.
