BFFs: Al Pacino & Adam Sandler

Although he'd spent a sizeable amount of time filming with the great Al Pacino, it seemed perfectly clear that Adam Sandler was still in awe of the Oscar winner during a press junket to promote their upcoming movie Jack and Jill, which made it all the more adorable when The Godfather legend launched into a borderline love letter to Adam.
"I really admired him for a long time" Pacino tells The Insider's Brooke Anderson, eliciting a not-so-subtle blush from Sandler. "I like all of his films and I loved Punch Drunk Love and the last one, Funny People… what he did in that is magnificent acting."
Immensely flattered to receive the holy grail of compliments from Al Pacino, Adam shot back a humbled "you're crazy, but thank you" in response.
When it came time to turn the tables in this love fest and have Adam name his favorite Pacino flick, he couldn't pick just one so Al gave him a sweet, teasing reminder of the soon-to-be released film, Jack and Jill.
Co-star Katie Holmes was also not shy in sharing her high praises for Sandler, however her selection of favorite films was considerably different (The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates). Although this film doesn't exactly follow his signature romantic comedies of the past, Holmes guarantees you will likely pee your pants with laughter as she did; literally.
Jack and Jill drops into theaters this Friday, November 11.
