"Puppy woke me up at the crack of ass." That's the quote Jeremy Renner's December Details interview opens with, thereby cementing my love for him and increasing the odds tenfold that I will read the entire article.

Which I did.

And you should too.

Not only should you read the article because it reveals quite a lot about this enigmatic new star, but also because you'll quickly find out why Hollywood is lining up to put him in movies with Tom Cruise and chose him to replace Matt Damon in the newest Bourne movie.

Titled The Bourne Legacy, Jeremy tells Empire magazine in a different interview: "My character is called Aaron Cross, but he ends up having a bunch of different names. For fans of the franchise, [The Bourne Legacy] has that same ticking clock, but it's a new program and new characters."

As for how the film will differ now that it doesn't focus on Damon's titular character, Jeremy says, "it's that same deal, it's just a new set of agents with a different leash. It's the same tempo and pace but more expansive and bigger. The differences are pretty vast but you'll know it's a Bourne movie."

Bringing our attention back around to Details, the interview (conducted on the lone day off Jeremy had from Bourne) covers his pre-fame life, sudden rise to fame and the advice his famous friends doled out along the way. Do yourself a favor and click here to read it.
