'Flight of the Conchords' Movie Might Happen
Flight of the Conchords star Bret McKenzie has been a busy man lately since he’s co-starring in Peter Jackson’s hotly anticipated Lord of the Rings prequel, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, but he gave fans a little morsel of hope in regards to a possible big screen adventure.
"We're going to try and do a movie," McKenzie told Starpulse. "We just need a story."
Fans of the HBO show, that's been off the air two years now, are hopefully rejoicing despite this just being speculation for the time being. But given McKenzie's role in The Hobbit and partner Jemaine Clement's newly bulked up resume (Despicable Me, Rio, Dinner for Schmucks), the extra clout these two have should help transform this into a deal. All we need now is that darn story. Any guesses?
