Meet Scarlett Johansson, Zookeeper

She's played a superheroine, a nanny, and a 17th century maid-turned muse, and once again Scarlett Johansson is expanding her repertoire as she takes on the role of a small-time zookeeper.
Alongside Matt Damon, Scarlett stars in We Bought a Zoo, based on a true story about a single dad (Damon) who decides his family needs a fresh start, so he and his two children move to the most unlikely of places: a zoo.
Johansson, who is a big van of vegan fare, transitioned pretty well into the part of Kelly Foster, a woman who she explains as having a preference to "animals over people."
Now really, what more could you want in a holiday movie? There's Scarlett Johansson for the boys, Matt Damon for the ladies, and zoo animals for the kiddies… if you got 'em.
We Bought a Zoo arrives to theaters, December 23.
