Joss Whedon's long-delayed Cabin in the Woods has taken on almost mythical proportions by this point as fans of both the Buffy creator and horror have heard this film is everything from "a total genre recalibration" to "one of the most inventive horror movies ever made."

Now that the trailer has finally (finally!!!!) debuted online, it seems like Cabin in the Woods = Cube + The Truman Show x Saw + demons.

Which is a winning formula, if I've ever heard.

But you would be wise not to expect you have any idea what's really going on here since the trailer fails to include several main characters, meaning we've probably only seen the first story in this Cabin's layout.

Cabin in the Woods hits theaters April 13, 2012.
