'Drive' Sequel Coming in 2012
Ryan Gosling's uber-violent and super-excellent Drive wrapped up its story with a bloody Driver speeding off into the sunset -- and now, his adventures have snagged a sequel. Albeit in book form.
Coming April 2012, writer James Sallis (who wrote the book Hossein Amini‘s script is based on) will release a second installment in the series, called Driven.
Slashfilm was also able to get a snippet of a plot synopsis from the publisher: "Six years later – Phoenix. Out of nowhere someone wants Driver dead. Who? Why? Big mistake…"
Here's hoping that in May of 2012, I write a story titled: Big Screen Drive Sequel Coming in 2013.
