The Rock Demolishes 'G.I. Joe 2' Trailer
Let's face it, 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra was a failure from start to finish -- that's why Channing Tatum (Duke), Byung-hun Lee (Storm Shadow) and Ray Park (stuntman extraordinaire who plays Snake Eyes) are the only remaining remnants in director Jon M. Chu's 2012 "sequel," G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
In place of Rachel Nichols' Scarlett is Adrianne Palicki's Lady Jaye, while The Rock subs in for everyone else (dude. is. huge.) in the action-packed new trailer.
One that, despite baring some unfortunate similarities to December's Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, features the year's most dynamic set piece: a mountainside fight between ninjas.
G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation hits theaters on June 29, 2012.
